Haworth village nestles in the arms of the Pennine moors in West Yorkshire. It is internationally famous for its connection with the Bronte sisters, who were born in nearby Thornton, but wrote most of their famous novels while living at the Haworth Parsonage (now a museum owned by the Bronte Society). During this time their father was parson at Haworth Church.
Two minutes walk from the Famous Bronte Parsonage and Haworth Church is the pretty 19th Century Cobbled Courtyard, The Fold.
Tucked away is ‘Hidden Gem’, a delightfully cosy holiday cottage, ideal for those seeking a romantic break or simply wanting to explore the many attractions on offer in the area.
For the outdoor enthusiast wonderful waterfall walks can be found on the outskirts of Haworth, leading to Top Withens, which gave inspiration for the Bronte novel Wuthering Heights. Haworth is also home to the Worth Valley Steam Railway where the original Railway Children was filmed.
